Bringing Friendship Home
Every week, pairs of teenage volunteers visit children with special needs in their homes, offering friendship and sharing in activities. Our teens are specially trained for their valuable role as friend and mentor. Parents enjoy regular respite while the child and teen friend engage in homemade fun and play.
* Friendship Circle requires that a parent always be on premises during these visits.

The Bowling League is held on the first Sunday of every month throughout the school year. Volunteers will be on hand to help our special buddies bowl and have a good time. A parent or legal guardian must be on premises.
Have some fun bowling and join us in the party room for art! Under guidance from a professional art instructor, the children will build skills together with their volunteer teen friend. Each session will feature an original creative project.

Birthday Club
Invite The Friendship Circle to your child’s birthday party! Our friendly volunteers will be there to help run the festivities. Party highlights will include fabulous activities, refreshments, and, of course… a birthday cake.
Happy Birthday!
Special Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Everyone deserves to celebrate their Bar or Bat Mitzvah surrounded by family and friends. To help teenagers with special needs commemorate this important milestone in a meaningful way, The Friendship Circle has created an individualized program of study and preparation that culminates in a candle-lighting ceremony for girls and a minyan for boys. A party to celebrate the achievements of the Bnei Mitzvah is also held for family and friends
